AR Homes and Rentals owns and manages residential rental homes in Arkansas. By using our website, applying for a home, renting from us, calling us or texting us, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect information you give us, including:

- Rental application details, such as identification, income and employment, rental history, household members, pets and vehicles, and your answers to application questions

Phone Calls and Our Automated Assistant

Calls to our office may be answered by an automated assistant that uses artificial intelligence. It can answer questions about homes for rent and our rental criteria, take messages, open maintenance requests, and transfer you to our staff. If you are a current tenant or applicant, it may tell you about your own balance, charges, maintenance requests or application status after confirming your identity. It does not discuss anyone else's account.

Calls may be recorded, transcribed and summarized, including any part of the call after it is transferred to our staff, so we can follow up on your request, keep accurate records, and improve our service. Recordings and transcripts are kept with our call records and are available only to our staff. The assistant's speech, recording and language processing is provided by our technology service providers, who may use the information only to provide that service to us.

Text Messaging

If you give us your mobile number on a rental application, lease or other form, or ask us during a call to text you, we may send you text messages about your application, lease, account (including rent reminders and payment plans), lease renewals and maintenance requests, and reply to messages you send us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of renting. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages for us.

How We Share Information

AR Homes and Rentals does not sell, rent or lease your personal information.

We share information only as needed to run our business:

- Service providers that work on our behalf, such as our property management and tenant portal software, payment processing, tenant screening, phone, texting and email services, cloud hosting and data storage, and maintenance vendors and contractors who need your name, address and contact details to complete a repair. They may use your information only to provide services to us and must keep it confidential.

- The owner of the home you rent or apply for, where that owner is an entity related to or managed by AR Homes and Rentals.

- When required by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, protect and defend the rights or property of AR Homes and Rentals, or protect the personal safety of our residents, staff or the public.

Website Use and Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect information about your device and visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, access times and referring website. We use this to operate and secure the site, understand which homes and pages are most popular, and improve our listings and advertising.

Data Retention and Security

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our services, manage your application or lease, and meet our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Texts: reply STOP to any of our texts to stop receiving them, or START to resume.

Our website links to other sites, such as our online rental application and tenant portal, which are operated by our property management software provider under its own terms and privacy policy. Children Under Thirteen

AR Homes and Rentals does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. Rental applications must be completed by adults.

We will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date, and for significant changes we may also notify you by email or a notice on our website.
